Hevo Group concludes a year of transformation with the acquisition of Avícola Tratante

Hevo Group concludes a defining 2025, consolidating its leadership position in the Spanish poultry sector following the acquisition of three companies — Granja Legaria, El Granjero, and Avícola Tratante — as well as the expansion and modernization of its production facilities.

With these additions, the group strengthens its presence across the national territory with centers located in Guadalajara, Cuenca, Tarragona, Navarra, Bizkaia, and Pontevedra.

The acquisition of Avícola Tratante, a Galician company with more than five decades of experience in the production and commercialization of eggs, represents a strategic step in the group’s expansion and marks a key year characterized by a profound transformation process across all its areas.

Founded in 1969 by Don José Vázquez and located in the town of Sixto (Dozón, Pontevedra), Avícola Tratante stands out as one of the most important Galician companies in the poultry sector. It also carries the Galicia Calidade seal and maintains a strong commitment to the rural community of Galicia.
